Art of Building

The Art of Building is an international digital photography competion, organised and funded by The Chartered Institute of Building - www.ciob.org.uk. The competition was launched in 2010 and received more than 1000 entries from around the world.

The original website, also designed and built by us, went on to win 'Best Website' at the MemCom awards in early 2011. We also designed the Art of Building logo.

There are some key changes to the competition for 2011 - such as the addition of entry by category - and in the interests of future-proofing the site we went through a complete front end re-design and built a host of new functionality.

The Art of Building website forms the hub through which the entire competition is run - all entries are submitted via the site and the custom admin system is used to facilitate the judging process.

All functionality was developed in ASP.NET and the site is hosted on our dedicated UK-based server.
