Checkatrade came to us in 2020 with a challenge: help improve trade member acquisition via email. The existing CRM activity was sparse, generic, and underperforming - presenting a wonderful opportunity to make an immediate impact.
We began with high-performing acquisition email campaigns, personalised by trade type and featuring rich, animated visuals to grab attention, paired with bespoke Pardot landing pages tailored to each campaign. The result? A dramatic uplift in lead flow.
In the ensuing years we pushed Pardot landing pages to creative and functional extremes, culminating in a complete member acquisition microsite and digital sign-up journey developed from interlinked pages, passing variables at each stage to enrich the prospect record in Salesforce.
Following acquisition success, our work expanded into member retention comms. We created lifecycle journeys for new members using behaviour-based triggers to prompt profile completion and guide them through onboarding, leveraging engagement data to demonstrate membership value all the way through to renewals campaigns to support retention and reduce churn.
As the business, platform and service evolves, we continue to support with campaign creative and email and landing page execution for acquisition activity.
